SPIRIT

What Is a Cannabis Ceremony?
A cannabis ceremony is a guided, intentional gathering where participants work with cannabis as a sacred plant ally. Unlike recreational use, the ceremony offers a slower pace, mindful presence, and practices that deepen self-awareness and connection.
In this space, cannabis is approached with reverence — as part of a ritual that may include meditation, breathwork, gentle movement, or sound. Participants are invited to explore their own inner experience with curiosity and care.
-
Our Approach
Our ceremonies are rooted in respect for the plant, each participant’s autonomy, and the power of shared community. We hold a non-judgmental, supportive container where you're invited to lean into what feels aligned — at your own pace, whatever that looks like.
We weave in mindfulness, grounding, and sensory exploration (like breathwork, subtle movement, or sound) to help you come home to yourself — even if that looks like deep stillness, a felt breath, or simply noticing how your body is holding you in that moment.
-
What to Expect
While each gathering is unique, a typical ceremony may include:
Opening circle: Introductions, intentions, and agreements
Grounding practices: Breath work, meditation, and/or reiki for those who wish to receive
Imbibing: Participants imbibe cannabis in their own way, in alignment with their personal comfort and tolerance
Guided inner journey: Sound, silence, or gentle prompts to support your exploration
Closing circle: Integration, reflection, and sharing (optional)
In our ceremonies, you are always in choice.
Cannabis is a consent-based plant medicine, which means you decide if, when, and how much you partake — or whether you choose not to use it at all.
There is no expectation to consume at any particular time or in any particular way.
You are encouraged to listen to your body, trust your own pacing, and honour your boundaries.
We believe that the most meaningful experiences come when each person feels safe, respected, and empowered to engage on their own terms.
Whether you take a single mindful breath, a small dose, or choose to simply be present in the space, your participation is valued and supported.

For the Curious and Cautious
-
No. We do not supply cannabis. Please bring your own, in a form and dosage that feels safe for you.
-
Bring the amount you would typically use for a mindful, comfortable experience. We encourage starting with a lower dose than you might use recreationally, as the ceremony setting can make the effects feel different.
-
No. You are welcome to bring any form of cannabis you prefer — for example, edibles, tinctures, or vaporized flower.
-
Our ceremonies are designed for those with some prior cannabis experience. If you are brand new, we recommend becoming familiar with how cannabis affects you before joining a group setting.
-
It’s natural to feel that way. Many participants arrive with a mix of curiosity and nerves. We take time at the start to connect, explain how it works and what to expect, share intentions, and create a safe, grounded environment so you can move at your own pace. There’s no pressure to share or participate in any way that doesn’t feel right for you.
-
If past experiences have been overwhelming, it’s important to consider whether a group setting feels supportive for you at this time. Our ceremonies are slow-paced and mindful, and you are always in choice about how much or how little to partake. You might also choose to attend with a very small dose, or simply as an observer, to see how it feels.
-
Before the ceremony, you’ll receive an email with guidance to help you prepare — including intention-setting suggestions and practical tips.
After the ceremony, you’re welcome to book an optional 1:1 integration session with Jackie, a Registered Social Worker, holistic therapist, and holistic practitioner. These paid sessions offer a supportive, confidential space to reflect on your experience, explore insights, and consider how to weave them into your daily life.
