Diversity, Inclusion & Land Acknowledgement

Diversity welcomed. Inclusion practiced. You, celebrated.

Diversity welcomed. Inclusion practiced. You, celebrated.

At Architecture of Wellness, you are welcome exactly as you are. This is a space where every identity, body, and life story is honoured. Healing here doesn’t come with conditions — you don’t have to shrink, edit, or perform to belong. Your story, your culture, your pronouns, your pace, and your truth all matter.

My commitment to diversity and inclusion is rooted in the belief that we all deserve spaces that respect our wholeness. I hold space for people whose experiences may have been overlooked or misunderstood, and I work to create an environment that feels safer for those who have been pushed to the margins. This includes honouring the lands we gather on, the histories and caretakers that came before us, and being mindful of the systems and biases that still shape our wellbeing today.

For me, this work is never a checkbox. It’s ongoing — a practice of listening, unlearning, and growing. It’s about creating a sanctuary where differences are celebrated, sensitivity is a strength, and your whole self isn’t just welcome — it’s essential.

At the end of the day, this is a space for rest, reconnection, and healing. A space where you can exhale, drop the mask, and know: you are seen, you are valued, and you are enough.

Respecting Land, Lineages, and Teachings

I acknowledge that my work takes place on the traditional territory of the Mississauga Anishinaabeg. As a holistic therapist, I reflect deeply on the teachings of interconnectedness, stewardship, and harmony that have been passed down by the First Peoples. I hold immense gratitude for their wisdom and care for the land.

At Architecture of Wellness, I also honour the origins of the ancient practices I share, approaching them with humility, gratitude, and integrity. I remain committed to ongoing learning and self-reflection, striving to integrate these teachings in a way that supports collective healing and balance. Together, we can walk a path of respect, connection, and care for one another and the world we share.
