Somatic Practices

Body-based tools for nervous system regulation and embodied wellness.

Somatic work can help quiet the mental chatter and cognitive loops that keep us stuck in the past or future. By shifting focus from thoughts to felt sensations, we allow the thinking brain to rest, creating space for clarity, curiosity, and new perspectives to emerge.

Your body holds your story. Through somatic tools like sound, scent, energy work, meditation, and gentle movement, we help the nervous system downshift from survival mode (sympathetic arousal) into states of rest, repair, and safety. This is where true integration happens.

Reclaiming your connection to your physical self is a deeply spiritual act. Somatic work invites you to inhabit your body fully, fostering a sense of belonging and reverence for your inner wisdom. It is the practice of coming home to yourself and the world around you.

Clinical Aromatherapy

Clinical aromatherapy utilizes the complex chemistry of plants to support your overall sense of well-being. Beyond emotional grounding, these botanical allies are chosen to enhance physical comfort, promote a sense of vitality, and support the body’s natural rhythm. By integrating scent into your wellness practice, we invite a holistic experience of ease that honours your mind, body, and spirit.

Reiki

Reiki is a non-invasive, gentle practice designed to support deep relaxation and stress reduction. By working with the body’s subtle energy fields, we help relieve tension and create a tranquil space for your entire being to recalibrate. Whether practiced through light touch or in a hands-off capacity, reiki encourages a transition from high-stress states into a profound sense of inner harmony and ease.

Yoga & Yoga Nidra

Yoga is an ancient, holistic system that helps explore the connection between the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual selves. By moving through the body’s physical architecture with intention, we cultivate interoception - the vital skill of sensing ourselves from the inside out. Alongside the practice of yoga nidra (a state of conscious, deep rest), these tools work to release deep-seated tension and quiet the mind. This is more than movement; it is a practice of integration that fosters a profound sense of wholeness and resilience.

The Resonance of Regulation

Sound is a direct bridge to the nervous system, bypassing the analytical mind to communicate with the body on a sensory level. Using the intentional frequencies of tuning forks, koshi chimes, and the immersive, rhythmic flow of handcrafted rain instruments (shoutout to Kari’s dad for the magical rainstick shown on the right), we invite the body to find its natural state of balance. These vibrational tools help tune your internal rhythms settle into a restorative pattern. This support is woven into our somatic work to help move stuck tension and anchor you into a state of profound physiological calm.
